LimÃÆ'ón FÃÆ'útbol Club , commonly known as LimÃÆ'ón , is a professional football club based in LimÃÆ'ón, Costa Rica. He plays in the FPD League.
The team play their home game at Estadio Juan GobÃÆ'án, although the newer Estadio Nuevo de LimÃÆ'ón serves as an alternative ground.

Histori
In 2009, local businessman Carlos Howden Pascal decided to invest in a local second division football team A.D. Limonense, the shareholders agreed to hire a team and named "LimÃÆ'ón FC". In 2010, the team quickly returned to the Primera Division's top division, Primera Division. In June 2011, Carlos Pascal was locked up and his bank account frozen, jeopardizing the team's financial situation. In 2013, he was released but his bank account is still frozen. Currently some players receive bonds as salaries until the case is settled. Many players not only play for LimÃÆ'ón as work. Most of them work elsewhere like Ports.
