Professional career

Boston Celtics (2010-2017)

season 2010-11

Bradley was elected to the 19th overall in the 2010 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. On July 2, 2010, he signed a rookie-scale contract with the Celtics. On the same day, he had a successful ankle surgery and then skip the NBA Summer League 2010.

Still only 19 years old, Bradley joined the Celtics team which is one of the best in the Eastern Region. He did not see his first regular season action until the fourteenth season, a 23-point win over the Atlanta Hawks where Bradley scored two points and made two turnovers. On January 14, 2011, Bradley was assigned to Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League and on the same day made his debut game for the team, playing 21 minutes and scoring 11 points. After a spinal injury to Marquis Daniels during a game against the Orlando Magic on February 6, 2011, Bradley was recalled by the Boston Celtics on February 7, and joined the team for the game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

In one Celtics rookie season of Bradley where he played over 15 minutes, Bradley scored 20 points to go with three rebounds, two assists and two steals. However, he played ten minutes or more in just two other NBA games and did not appear in any of the Celtics' postseason contests. As of June 30, 2011, the Celtics exercised their third-year team option on a budding-scale contract for Bradley, extending the contract through the 2012-13 season.

2011-12 season

In October 2011, Bradley signed a contract with Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli National Basketball League for the duration of the NBA lock. He plays three matches with the team, averaging 13.7 points per game.

During the 2011-12 NBA season, Bradley enjoyed more playing time and was promoted to an early role after an injury to Ray Allen. Bradley's scores improved significantly during the season, and he scored 28 points high against the Atlanta Hawks on 20 April 2012. He also received praise for his incredible racket and defense, including impressive blocks at Dwyane Wade and Russell Westbrook, among others. However, Bradley suffered a shoulder dislocation during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. This injury, which led to a season-ending operation, was a significant setback for the Celtics, who lost seven games to the Miami Heat in the Final Conference.

season 2012-13

On October 30, 2012, the Celtics exercised their fourth-year team option on a Bradley rookie scale contract, extending the contract through the 2013-14 season. With Bradley still absent for the start of the 2012-13 NBA season, the aging Celtics are struggling with the duo Courtney Lee and Jason Terry receiving most of the minutes in shooting guards. On January 2, 2013, Bradley returned to action against the Memphis Grizzlies, regaining his position as a shooting keeper and giving a significant boost to the team, evident by winning six of Bradley's first seven games. However, the season was finally disappointing for Bradley and Celtics. Although he leads the league at the fewest points per match allowed in defense, at 0.697, he fought offensively, shooting just 40.2 percent off the field and managing 15 or more points just five times in 50 regular season games. The Celtics missed a realistic chance for a fight when point guard Rajon Rondo came down with a torn ACL on January 27, leaving them without their most dynamic players. After trailing three games against the New York Knicks in the first round of the playoffs, Boston bounced back, winning two games and narrowly lost. 6. Bradley, who played in the series has reflected the team's ineffectiveness, put a bold effort at the end of the game, made all four strokes and stole the ball three times in the last ten minutes. The Celtics entered the offseason with an eye toward the future and Bradley was a key part of their plan to rebuild the competition.

season 2013-14

The Celtics ended the era on the design day of the NBA 2013, swapping aging stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, as well as Jason Terry and D. J. White, to the Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics also refused to sign Bradley into a contract extension before the October 31, 2013 deadline, allowing him to become a restricted free agent in 2014. However, new Celtics coach Brad Stevens expressed his belief in Bradley, who, in the absence of Rondo's Injury, NBA 2013-14 as keeper of team starting point. Bradley's time at the point guard lasted only four disappointing games; he has more turnover than assists, and the Celtics lost four times. In an effort to change the team, Stevens named Jordan Crawford as a new point guard, allowing Bradley to move to a natural shooting keeper. The move worked brilliantly, as the Celtics soon resumed their four-match winning streak and Bradley was more comfortable in his role in the team. Despite his lack of talent and experience the Celtics are starting to show themselves as the season goes, especially with Rondo still out, Bradley is a rare bright spot, increasing the average score every month until January. He was very effective in December, shooting a fantastic 50 percent on three shots and making 48.7 percent of his overall shot. Unfortunately, on January 21, only in the third game of the season when Rondo was active, Bradley suffered a right ankle injury and eventually lost five games. Shortly after returning, on February 5, he again sprained in the same ankle. Determined to be careful, Stevens still has not set a date back for Bradley as the Celtics headed to an All-Star break over a week later.

Bradley finally returned to action on March 14th. In his fourth match back, winning over the Miami Heat, he connected with a career six six-point shots as part of a 23-point effort, then followed him with 28 points, leveling. his career is high, the next game. When healthy, Bradley played important minutes and played effectively in the final stretch of the season, scoring at least 18 points in the last five games of the team. Bradley shouldered a higher percentage of offensive workloads for the Celtics in 2013-14, and he responded by greatly improving his shooting from the previous season. Within a year of rebuilding for the team, who saw them win just 25 games, Bradley stands out as one of the few consistent players.

season 2014-15

With Bradley set to become a restricted free agent in July 2014, the Celtics need to extend a $ 3.6 million qualifying bid in order to match any contract offered by the other team, which they did on June 30. On July 15, Bradley was re-signed with the Celtics to a four-year deal, $ 32 million. Although the Celtics have high hopes for backcourt their partners Bradley and Rajon Rondo, both are now healthy, they soon face a setback when Rondo broke his hand a month before the 2014-15 season. Although the team plans to be careful with Rondo's injury, Brad Stevens made the decision to keep Bradley in shooting guards even with Rondo out, with rookie mix Marcus Smart, second-year keeper Phil Pressey and new acquisition Evan Turner playing point guard.

Despite the concerns, Rondo finally surprised many people for being ready to open the night. Bradley continued to play harassing defenses and scored in double digits in 13 of the first 15 team games, including 32 career high points in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Celtics, however, struggled to start 4-11. Meanwhile, Bradley's attack cooled in December, as he shot just 39 percent of the field for the month and made just 1-of-21 three-point effort during a six-game stretch. Faced with a 9-14 record on December 18, Celtics Basketball President Danny Ainge made a tough decision to part with Rondo, trading him and rookie Dwight Powell to the Dallas Mavericks for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and two draft picks. Experts like Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose describe the trade as a handover to a mediocre state, in hopes of getting a high pick design at the end of the season, and the Celtics continue to struggle after Rondo's exit.

However, under the care of Brad Stevens, and with the help of trade acquisition of Isaiah Thomas, the young Celtics gradually improved. Having failed to post a winning record in November, December or January, they did so in February, March and April, and won eight of the last nine games of the season. Bradley's offensive output was particularly effective in February, as he managed more than 18 points per game in a month while photographing 47 percent of the field and over 40 percent from three-point spacing. Although a shoulder injury kept him out for three games between March 6 and March 9, he scored 17 points against the Memphis Grizzlies on 11 March. For the regular season, Bradley leads the Celtics in minutes of play and points, although his points per game and shooting percentage decreased slightly from 2013-14. The 40-42 record put the Celtics on the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. Their short playoff series, as the eventual Cleveland Cavaliers conference champion swept the Celtics 4-0. Bradley played 40 of 48 minutes in the last game of the series, but his 16 points were not enough to beat LeBron James and the Cavaliers. Nevertheless, the 2014-15 season was a staggering success for the Celtics and another solid year, and a relatively healthy year, for Bradley.

season 2015-16

Fresh from their first playoff appearance in Brad Stevens era, the Celtics entering the 2015-16 season are eager to prove that it is not a coincidence. After getting veteran forward David Lee and Amir Johnson to strengthen their frontcourt, the team also hopes to see continuous improvements from their promising young players, including Marcus Smart and Jared Sullinger. They started the year slowly, winning just one of their first four games. Bradley gave a rare spotlight, however, throwing a remarkable dunk on the Defender of the Year of Kawhi Leonard. After missing two matches with a calf injury, Bradley returned to action as the sixth man after starting 224 of 226 Celtics matches where he was healthy. He excels in his new role, improving his judgment, efficiency and defensive ratings. Bradley soon returned to the starting lineup on 22 November and proved himself very capable in a good role, soon managing two games in a row with at least 25 points and 13 in a row with at least 10 points.

Bradley missed three games in early January with a hip injury, and upon his return, the Celtics emerged as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. Bradley contributed a number of impressive performances. On January 27, he scored 21 of his high season tying 27 points in the first half of the Celtics 111-103 victory over the Denver Nuggets. On February 5, he connected on three game pointers to give Boston a 104-103 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers who headed the Eastern Conference. On February 29, he blocked a shot from Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward with 23 seconds left in the game to give the Celtics victory. For this season, Bradley is his team's second goalscorer, behind only All-Star Isaiah Thomas.

With a 48-34 record, the Celtics finished the regular season with a four-way tie for third seed in the Eastern Conference and was awarded the fifth seed under the tiebreaker rule. Drawing the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs, the Celtics narrowly lost in Game 1, when Bradley scored 18 points but dropped in the fourth quarter with a right hamstring injury. The injury turned out to be serious enough to rule out Bradley for the rest of the series, which turned out to be a crippling blow for the Celtics. They are much played by the Hawks in his absence, especially on offense, and lost the series in six games. However, NBA Bradley's sixth season was an individual and team success, closed when he was included in the NBA All-Defensive First Team.

season 2016-17

Bradley and Celtics both continue to improve in 2016-17. Starting with the opening night of a 17-point performance that included 3 of 4 3-point shots, Bradley enjoyed the most effective offensive season, although injuries limited him to only 55 matches. Starting every game he played, Bradley was very consistent, with a double-digit score in 50 of his 55 regular season matches. Best of all, he is a wonderful weapon of three point range. In the third Celtics game of the season, for example, Bradley scored 31 points on eight highest three-point shots, also managing 11 rebounds, as the Celtics beat the Charlotte Hornets. Bradley's season scored an average of 16.3 points per game is a career high, while 39.0 points are three points the best since 2013-14. His total rebound, meanwhile, saw a dramatic jump, as he averaged 6.1 for the season, almost double what he had previously had. Bradley managed to score a double-digit rebound on ten different occasions, including 16 November, when he recorded 13 career highs, to go along with 18 points, in a victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Unfortunately, Bradley struggled through several injuries, notably the right Achilles injury that kept him from 22 out of 23 games during stretching in January and February.

This season was a success for the Celtics, with 53 victories giving them No. No. 1 in the Eastern Conference playoffs. However, in the first half of the postseason, the Celtics initially struggled and trailed behind the eighth-seeded Chicago Bulls 2-0. When they won the series in six games, it marked Bradley and the team's first postseason series victory since 2012. Bradley scored 24 and 23 points in Game 5 and 6, with 24 points having a high playoff career. Bradley was top of the next round, with 29 points against the Washington Wizards in Game 5 to help the Celtics lead 3-2 in the series, which they eventually won in seven games. The Eastern Conference Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, finally proved too much. In a one-sided series, the high point for the Celtics came from Bradley. Play Game 3 dropped two games to none and without injured Isaiah Thomas, Boston stayed unexpectedly close to the Cavaliers throughout the game, then won when the 3-pointer Bradley bounced around the rim and fell with less than the second left. Bradley finished the game with 20 points. The Celtics lost both the fourth and fifth games, bending out of the playoffs. Detroit Pistons (2017-2018)

>

On July 7, 2017, in an attempt to clear enough hat space to sign Gordon Hayward's free agent, as well as efforts to increase the size of their perimeter barrier, the Celtics traded Bradley and voted for a second-round 2019 draft to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Marcus Morris. Bradley was the longest-running Celtic in the team at the time. In their debut for the Pistons in their season opener on October 18, 2017, Bradley scored 15 points in a 102-90 win over the Charlotte Hornets. On November 15, 2017, he scored a season-high 28 points in a 99-95 defeat over the Milwaukee Bucks. Bradley missed seven games with a hip-groin injury between late December and early January.

Los Angeles Clippers (2018-present)

On January 29, 2018, Bradley, along with Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovi?, First-round first-round protected drafts and second-round draft drafts in the future, are traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in return for Blake Griffin, Willie Reed and Brice Johnson. On March 13, 2018, he underwent a successful surgery to repair adductor and rectus abdominus muscles. He was then set aside for six to eight weeks.

Player profile

Although he has a more typical build of point guard, Bradley plays a shooting guard. Redeeming the lack of size in position with speed, strength and tenacity, Bradley excels in defense. Opponents Lillard and C. J. McCollum Opponents have called him the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. Bradley has an exceptional and explosive athleticism, having won the Slam Dunk Contest in the McDonald's All-American Game 2009. However, he rarely displays his elite leaping skills in the game, sometimes blocking players on the rim or throwing dunks but more often just harassing people on the perimeter and settled for layups. Bradley remains an increasingly valuable offensive player, especially as a reliable three-point shooter. Bradley's intense and frenetic defensive play style, perhaps his most valuable asset, may also be partly to blame for a series of injuries he suffered in his career. However, his most serious injuries, which required three operations by the time he was 23, occurred early in his career. Because of his defense and increased attacks, Bradley became an increasingly important member of the Celtics, and his minutes of playing per game continued to increase from time to time with the team, from just 5.2 to 33.4.
