Landing card is the arrival card form that non-EEA citizens must enter when they enter the UK. The traveler must show the completed form at the British Border Agency's immigration office at the time of admission. This form is usually supplied by airlines, trains or ferries.

In the UK, the landing card system is governed by the Immigration Act of 1971, Schedule 2 paragraph 5, which states;

The Secretary of State decides, by issuing the Statutory Instrument, whose citizenship must complete the landing card. Currently all EU citizens, and those from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, are excluded. Failure to complete the landing card is currently required is a crime punishable by a fine of six months or imprisonment.

In August 2017, the UK Home Office announced that the landing cards will be completely removed as part of the digital border transformation and modernization. It is estimated that this change will take effect in the fall.
