The Yellow Page Association , known in the industry as YPA , is the yellow pages industry regulatory body of the United States.
Founded in 1975 as the National Yellow Page Service Association (NYPSA), the Yellow Page Association (YPA) is the largest trade organization of print and digital media industries worth over $ 31 billion worldwide. Association members include Yellow Page publishers, who produce products that generate nearly 90 percent of Yellow Pages revenue generated in the US and Canada. Its members also include the international, national and local sales force of the industry, certified marketing representatives (CMR) and associate members, a group of industry stakeholders that includes Yellow Pages advertisers, vendors and suppliers. The association has members in 29 countries.
The European partner for YPA is the European Directory and Database Publishing Association (EADP).
YPA has recently changed its name to Local Search Associations.
