Kraak & amp; Smaak ( Dutch: Ã, [kra: k? N sma: k] ) is a musical trio production from the city of Leiden, The Netherlands, which consists of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers, and Wim Plug. All three began recording in 2003. Their first album, titled Boogie Angst , was released in UK 2006, and they began performing at music festivals and in clubs in the US and UK. Their songs are played on the radio and used on television shows. Their second album, released in 2008, is titled Plastic People . They won the EBBA. Their third album, Electric Hustle , was released in 2011.

In 2003, UK label Jalapeno Records released an early 12 "project.The interest of Annie Nightingale and Pete Tong led to the playing and recording of a mix of DJ guests to BBC Radio 1. Several remixes for British artists such as Mark Rae and dj tours across the US and Australia followed.
Their debut album Boogie Angst, was released in UK 2006. It featured several artists, including U-Gene and Dez (who wrote and sang the single 'Keep Me Home'). Benelux and Japan and a band formed to be able to play directly with the DJ set. Throughout 2006 and 2007, their events took them to festivals such as Pinkpop, Sziget, SXSW, the Winter Music Conference in Miami, Bonnaroo, Coachella, the Good Traffic Festival of Australia, and a tour of the first small club in the US, where they opened for some faith time. Supported by Jason Bentley of KCRW the album was re-released in the US by Quango Music, and the various songs found their way into television series like Gray's Anatomy, Men in Trees and What About Brian?
The Remix Sessions was released in early 2007. This included previously released material that was reproduced by artists including Jamiroquai, Sarah Bettens and Kruder & Dorfmeister. It also includes remixes from Skeewiff's cover version of 'Man Of Constant Sorrow' (as made famous by O Brother, Where Art Thou? Films by Coen brothers). Since then Junkie XL, Sam Sparro, and others have also been scrubbed.
In 2008, their second album artist was released, Plastic People , whose title song was written by eminent British artist Bobby Nio and Mark Brydon of the electro band Moloko. The first single from the album, Squeeze Me , featuring British singer Ben Westbeech, was a small hit, taking the # 6 spot on the Dutch pop charts and receiving many rotations around the world. The video by Dutch director Andre Maat, with the theme 'flip book' won the support of celebrity US blogger Perez Hilton and rap artist/producer Kanye West and took numerous awards. In the US, albums and singles released by Ultra Records and BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac asked Kraak & Smaak to record minimix.
IDJ Dance Magazine describes Kraak & amp; Smaak as "Must see live band", along with names like Brothers Chemical, Moby and The Prodigy. Building on that qualification, during 2008 Kraak & amp; Smaak plays Glastonbury, Bestival, Bloom, Lovebox Festival, Big Chill festivals and club performances at The Cargo and The End in the UK, the Rothbury Music Festival in the US, Lowlands in the Netherlands and again Sziget festival. During their US live tour at the end of 2008, they performed live on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC television. In 2009 and 2010, new US DJs and live tours follow, play national performances at clubs and at festivals such as the Ultra Music Festival, Rothbury, Coachella, Detroit Movement, Wakarusa, and so on.
In January 2009, the project won the EU. (EBBA), alongside acts like The Ting Tings and Adele. The award was presented at the Eurosonic festival in Groningen (city), during a television show hosted by Jools Holland.
After a long tour and collaboration (Sander Kleinenberg) and even more remixes (Maxwell, Max Sedgley, Fedde le Grand, Darwin Deez, etc.), K & amp; S, 'Electric Hustle,' was released in April 2011, featuring Romanthony, Lee Fields, Janne Schra, John Turrell and Lex Empress ao on vocal duties. The new series of dancefloor EP released under the name 'Kraak Beats' and Moby 'The Day' new single have been stamped.
In 2013, Kraak & amp; Smaak released their fourth album, Chrome Wave. , followed by Chrome Remix Wave in 2014.
In 2016, their fifth studio album "Juicy Fruit" was released later also followed by a remix album in 2017.
