I Agree is an alternative rock band from Leeds, England.

The band is known for using lyrics to tell the unusual stories of modern culture. The subject has been focusing, among other topics, on Korean stem cell scientist Hwang Woo Suk (at "Decimal Place"), construction of the M62 motorway around Stott Hall Farm (in "Build Around Me") and American TV series The Wire (on "Sobotka").

Careers

I Concur began playing together in late 2006 and their first performance took place at The Packhorse, Leeds, in January 2007. In the following May, the band released their debut EP, Whatever Will Be .

After support with The Hold Steady, I Concur was added to an independent record label, the compilation album of various artists Dance To The Radio, Out of the Woods and Trees, and in March 2008, the band released a limited 7 "double a-sided single, "Lucky Jack"/"Build Around Me", via Brew Records played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1. Following the positive reviews, and coverage on NME , I Agree to invite to record session for the BBC Introducing event from Huw Stephens at Maida Vale studio.

The next July, BBC Introducing announced that I Agree will be playing at the Reading and Leeds Festival. The band then released their next single, "Oblige", produced by Tom Woodhead from Ãƒ,Ã‚Â¡Forward, Russia !, in October 2008.

In September 2009, I announced Concur that it had signed a contract with the London-based AC30 Club recording label, and the band's debut album, Able Archer, and the new single, "Sobotka", was released in October next. After a positive review of the album, the band took time to appear focused on writing new material.

After six years together, the band announced their decision to split up in November 2012. Shortly afterwards they released their long-awaited, long-awaited Burial Proof album.

Hann's team released a solo album under the name break_fold in February 2017.
