Peace Hyde (born 9 August 1985) is a British Ghanaian TV personality and media entrepreneur. Hyde is originally from the United Kingdom, where she practiced as an education specialist with six years' of experience within the formal education sector. During this time, she ultimately rose to a senior management level. She holds a first class degree in Psychology and master's degrees in communication and digital media as well as journalism. Peace Hyde is also the founder of Aim Higher Africa, a not for profit dedicated to enriching the standard of education for students by incorporating the use of ICT in the learning environment. She is also the Forbes West Africa Correspondent. In 2017, she was appointed the new head of digital media and partnerships for Forbes Africa.

Early Childhood
Peace Hyde was born and raised in London, where she lived until 2015, when she relocated to Ghana in 2015. During her early years in London, she briefly practiced as a child psychologist before embarking on a career as a science teacher specializing in chemistry and biology.

Peace Hyde is the Head of Digital Media and Partnership as well as the West African Correspondent at Forbes Africa. In her current role, she is responsible for working across the company's digital platform on revenue and audience growth initiatives as well as the editorial head for the West African region. Prior to Joining Forbes Africa, she was an education senior management executive in the United Kingdom where she also practiced as a science teacher for 7 years.
She is also the founder of leading education non-profit Aim Higher Africa, which has a focus on empowering unemployed youths in Africa to transform their passion into business. She is also an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in Black Enterprise, Huffington Post, Ebony and Fox News. She was named to the United Nations Most Influential People of African Decent list for 2017. She also sits on the judging panel for The Chivas Venture Fund as well as being the host of two leading flagship talk shows, Forbes Africa's My Worst Day with Peace Hyde and Forbes Woman Africa's Against The Odds on CNBC Africa.

Peace Hyde is the first ever British/Ghanaian to hold the coveted position of West Africa Correspondent for Forbes Africa and Forbes Woman Africa. Forbes Africa is the number one monthly print magazine in Africa reaching 153,000 of the 3.4 million qualifying adults, aged between 25 and 64, across seven markets and that comprise the EMS African affluent.
Through her journalistic work, Peace has featured some of the most prominent and successful entrepreneurial stories from the continent including Africa's second richest woman Folorunsho Alakija with an estimated net worth of $1.8 billion according to Forbes and millionaires Cosmos Maduka of the Coscharis Group, Tonye Cole of The Sahara Group and founder of Access Bank and Chairman of Coronation Capital, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede. Peace Hyde also wrote about the impact of female genital mutilation in the provocative Forbes Woman Africa piece "The girls who grew up too soon", receiving wide spread acclaim in the journalism community.
In 2015 Peace won the prestigious excellence in journalism award at the Africa Boku Talent Awards in Los Angeles, California. She was subsequently nominated for the Discovery Young Health Journalist of the Year Award in South Africa for her work depicting the horrific practice of female genital mutilation in Nigeria.Later in 2017, Peace was promoted to Head of Digital Media and Partnership for Forbes Africa with a focus on driving engagement and profitability of the digital platform.

Peace Hyde is the founder of education not for profit Aim Higher Africa with a focus on building the next generation of entrepreneurs and change makers in Africa by educating, inspiring and empowering a generation of young leaders through the power of education and technology to build sustainable and scalable businesses in order to create jobs and transform impoverished communities.
Over the past three years, the organization has been engaging entrepreneurs across the continent to learn and develop as entrepreneurs by offering invaluable connections to like-minded peers, provide access to investors, mentorship and financial literacy workshops. The organization is a leader in pioneering design-thinking methodology in its Entrepreneurial Clinics to equip grassroots entrepreneurs with the skills they need to develop their businesses. Since its inception the organization has created over 300 small businesses in West Africa and reaching some 2 million plus students.
Foundation
Peace Hyde is the founder of the multiple award-winning nonprofit organisation, Aim Higher Africa. The organisation is dedicated to enriching the standard of education by incorporating the use of ICT in the learning environment to build the next generation of entrepreneurs.
