History
Agile CRM is a product of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company which also goes by the same name. The company was founded in 2013 in Sunnyvale, California, USA by Manohar Chapalamadugu who is also the founder of ClickDesk; a cloud-based live support chat software.
Agile CRM was created as a solution to ClickDesk's internal requirement for managing communications and marketing with its client base. However, seeing the big gap in client relationship management(CRM) for the small businesses, Agile CRM was founded to bridge that gap as a next gen CRM at the core which offers a set of integrated marketing automation, sales enablement, and service automation tools.
Agile CRM is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It supports customers worldwide with a majority of its users in the UK and US markets. The company has seen good growth and has over 120 employees as of the end of 2016.
In December 2015, Agile CRM introduced a landing page builder with visual editor integrated within the CRM software. The company also introduced several integrations and plugins for third party applications including Google Apps, Shopify, Skype, and Zendesk.
In May 2016, Agile CRM released a software development kit for iOS letting developers add CRM functionality to their iOS apps including management of contacts, deals, tasks and notes.
